Privacy Policy

This policy explains what JPHB Software, Inc. (Colorado, USA) doing business as FigureGenie ("we," "us") collects when you use figuregenie.ai (the "Service"), and how we handle it. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run the Service, we don't sell your data, we don't run ads, and your manuscripts and figures are not used to train AI models.

1. What We Collect

• Account information. Your email address, used to sign you in (via emailed magic link) and to communicate about your account.
• Your content. The manuscripts, data, sketches, CAD files, and figures you upload or create. We store and process this content solely to provide the Service to you.
• Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card data goes directly to Stripe and never touches FigureGenie servers. We receive only what we need to run your subscription — such as your plan, payment status, and a customer reference.
• Service records. Basic operational data such as render history and credit usage, needed for billing and support.

2. How Your Content Is Processed

To generate figures, the Service sends the relevant content (for example, your description, manuscript excerpts, or sketch) to AI model providers — Anthropic and Google — through their commercial APIs. Under those API terms, these providers process the content transiently to produce the result and do not retain it for training their models. Your content is not used to train AI models by us or, under the applicable API terms, by our providers.

3. Service Providers

We use a small set of processors to run the Service:

• Supabase — authentication and data hosting.
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
• Railway — application infrastructure and hosting.
• Anthropic and Google — AI model APIs that process content transiently to generate figures, as described above.

Each provider processes data only as needed to provide its service to us.

4. What We Don't Do

• We do not sell your personal data or your content. Ever.
• We do not show ads and do not use third-party advertising cookies or trackers. The only cookies/storage we use are those needed to keep you signed in and remember your preferences.
• We do not use your manuscripts, data, or figures to train AI models.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your account data and content while your account is active so your projects and history are available to you. You can delete your data — or your entire account — on request: email support@figuregenie.ai and we will delete your data within a reasonable period, except records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons (such as billing records).

6. Security

Content is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS), authentication is handled by Supabase with passwordless magic links, and card data is handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI-DSS certified processor. No system is perfectly secure, but we design the Service to minimize the sensitive data we hold.

7. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will give notice through the Service or by email before the changes take effect.
